<<Greg, what's your feeling about the overall market condition. based on all the recent economic data. Do you think the Fed will raise rates again, and if so, do you think we'll test the lows again (or is a quarter point raise already factored in).>>

i'm in the minority... i think, if you remove the fact that it's an election year, the last 50 basis point hike was overkill.... if not an election year, the fed would have likely waited longer to let the prior 5 hikes have their affect... housing and autos were already starting to slow, with the one question being (in my mind) wage inflation. i don't think this is hitting the middle class and upper class as hard in tha wallet as it needs to...

the other key is the fed might have to stave of the treasury pumping money into the system... the clinton admin is trying to keep the democratic election hopes alive by keeping a vibrant economy through elections... pumping money in is somewhat offsetting the rate hikes...

so, in a nutshell... the market has likely factored in another 1, or possibly 2, 1/4 pt hikes... i doubt we'll see the lows revisited without some horrific news. we'll undoubtably see pullbacks and nervousness going into the fed meetings, but i think in the case of MRV, the story of the ipo's might give it a little shelter.
