God forgives those who repent and ask for forgiveness. If a murderer is executed before he repents, he will go to hell. I'm beginning to study the Catholic faith. As a serious question to you, who seem to have a good knowledge of it, what is the fate of the victim of the murderer if he has not repented, assuming we do not know the scope of his/her sins.? Under what circumstances will he go to hell or is dispensation or pardon available.?
