Thanks, JLA. That makes me feel better about not being able to go today. I was mainly going to try to get news, since Edwarda would be unaware of any visitor; but I may able to make phone contact with a family member.... I did ask both the doctor and nurse yesterday if I would be permitted to visit her today, and each said yes. No mention was made of contagion, but your suggestion for caution sounds sensible, given that the nature of the virus is still undetermined.
