Slow? And the summer is still mostly ahead of us. The sharp pain has subsided. Pain made more tolerable as I have been so busy working that I feel as if we just got done with the month of January. First half's active income goes a great distance to offset passive losses, and the remainder of the year should be OK for both streams of positive NAV flow. Next year is vague, uncertain and generally in doubt. Moping around a bit now and will once more be in Honolulu (June 20-26), feeling different as the euphoria of last trip (Feb) is no more. Wife will proceed to raise funding in US and Europe. The state of private equity appears to be still healthy, though no longer able to leap the Empire State Building in one single jump. I believe the site will come alive again after NASDAQ Japan opens for business, even if internationals continue to sell Japan market.
