Truth to this, anyone?

Short sellers are like lawyers

This sounds a nice way for true longs to defeat the shorters:

For those of you tired of your stocks "being played" by the MM's, Consider this: When you buy shares after DD leading
you to believe in the Company, these shares immediately become available to those who are shorting the same company if
the shares are not "locked up". You could have the shares delivered to you and take them out of circulation and lock
them up that way, but the brokers charge extra for that. (The shares that are left with the brokerage without an
existing order in place are available to the shortsellers). The other choice is to immediately place a "gtc" sell order
for what you
feel is your long term target price, i.e. 5 to 10 times your purchase price. You then are the only one in control of
those shares. Brokers can't loan them to those who are shorting the company. Short sales are only made from borrowed
shares, which means they are not a true indication of supply and demand, but a means of manipulating share prices. If
you later determine in your own best interest to do something different, you can change your existing order to meet your
own needs, but it is your choice only whether these shares ever get sold. GTC orders have to be renewed periodically,
but if it solves the "volatility problem" of the Companies you believe in, it is worth it.

There will always be "day traders" and those into a stock for short term profits, but those of us who really believe in
a company are being "jacked around" by people using OUR shares to do it. I took mine out of circulation today.

If we all put a GTC order on, review and renew them as needed we will be able to stop the MM's from using our own shares
to screw us with.

Copy and paste this message regularly on all message boards for stocks you hold and eventually it could be common
practice by other shareholders as well!!

IT'S PAY BACK TIME!!
