OD, I don't own any DCLK, I just started doing my DD; one of the funds I bought yesterday has DoubleClick listed in their top ten investments.
Market Cap (mil) $4,815.62 Shares Outstanding (000's) 122,496 # of Institutional Shareholders 434 Shares Held by Institutions (000's) 81,318 % Shares Held by Institutions 68.8%
The shares held by Institutions is very impressive and check out the shory interest:
05/00 9,375,460 04/00 7,631,911 03/00 8,345,780 02/00 7,975,751 01/00 8,954,711 12/99 4,572,342
When this stock starts to turn around again, there will be over 9M short shares looking for the door depending on what the price was when they established their position. I like that, it supports upward price movement even if the shorts pull out in an orderly fashion. I would guess that some of the short interest has been executed by the institutions as a hedge move. This could get very interesting very quickly IMO.
Is it a screaming good buy? The low and high over the last year was 30.25- 135.25. If a guy were to take a full look at this company, and likes what he sees, the current price says he'd be pretty close to a decision.
