I noted that Sun's webcast yesterday was sprinkled with "one stop shopping" and "one vendor to call if there is a problem".

I once had the dubious pleasure of watching a friend employed in an IT dept try to get in touch with Sun to get a hard drive replaced on a SPARCstation. Their attitude, and their pricing, turned me off from the company for what is likely to be a very long time. They take an off the shelf cheapo Seagate drive, put it in a Sun case, and mark it up 300% -- and treat you as if they're doing you a huge favor by selling it to you. Makes for a lot of unhappy customers.

I wonder how NTAP's service/replacement dept compares? This is what makes the decisions for the IT folks, you know.
