June 16, 2000 Dow Jones Newswires Orbcomm Global Hires Bear Stearns As Adviser Dow Jones Newswires DULLES, Va. -- Orbcomm Global LP, jointly owned by Orbital Sciences Corp. (ORB) and Teleglobe Inc. (TGO), hired Bear Stearns & Co. to help it search for additional strategic partners and investors. In a press release Friday, the company said it is also evaluating other strategic and financial alternatives to strengthen its capital structure and market position. The company added that it still has "substantial funding requirements" before it expects to be cash flow positive. fred
