Well, I looked at he link you wanted me to comment on.
My first reaction is that it is their hospital, so they can do anything they want, I guess. The reality is that if they want to be accredited, they have to act as the laws of the land dictate. So they have a choice to make, perform to those laws or lose accreditation.
I don't understand the logic of feeling that since abortion hurts humanity, we will hurt a even greater percentage by denying them service, many of which are life saving in nature. They will end up costing more lives than they will save(my own unscientific estimation) It is somewhat petulant IMO, but it is a very emotional subject and rash decisions are made by people holding opinions on both sides of the fence.
As you know, I am not against abortion, but we have argued this point numerous times before, and I don;t have the time and energy to labor the point again.
