Metrowerks Results -3: Continues To Diversify
Pdts >MTWKF

Metrowerks Inc. (MTWKF), Austin, Texas, said that during the third quarter it
continued product diversification due to the decling Mac-OS-based product sales.

The company said in April it shipped its Windows '95/NT-hosted tools for
PalmPilot, a popular electronic organizer. As well, CodeWarrior for PalmPilot
contributed significantly to third quarter revenues, it said.

The company said it will ship a new CodeWarrior for Windows CE product by the
fourth quarter. CodeWarrior on UNIX will ship in the latter part of the year, it
added.

Metrowerks said the third quarter showed increased expenses due to it being the
first full quarter of administrative and marketing costs for its new Tokyo office.

The company said it has streamlined its sales activities by merging its channel sales.

Metrowerks designs and develops software programming tools.
