JHG,

I made 500% on a way out of the money straddle.

I bought equal dollar amounts of June 290 calls, and June 140 puts. The puts expired worthless, but the calls were up 1000% (post split).

My rationale for buying the calls was the possibility of news relating to IP royalties from DDR/SDRAM, which is exactly what happened.
