I met a vp from UB - Union Bank

three days ago on the golf course. I asked him if he thought banks had a high exposure to bad loans with the rising interest rates. He said that UB had only taken on A and B rated customers and so the risk was minimal <g>.

Interest rates haven't gone up that much and the full effect of the recent hikes has not trickled through. So it seems a little early that the banks would start having loan defaults? Im not surprised they are starting to see problems, only that its surfacing so quickly.
