What is happening now, happens when a stock shoots to the moon, goes around it, fails to land then comes back limping home with out completing the mission. All the technology is in place, lesson are being learn from the first go around, but only time will prove if they get to go back and complete the mission as long as the powers to be will let them that is. (what I referring is the stock action) What is left when they land are zealots (mission control), who are complete believers since they are the ones the build the pad for the launch in the first place (this is where QCOM is at now). You can see that with out even reading the post, all you need to do is look at who the author of the post are. At this point , they become more and more protective to the point of lashing out to all naysayers ( filing SEC reports is the extreme of this conditions). After or during this time, investing in a stock like QCOM, where the selling is uninformed and emotional driven, can be very profitable (We might or might not be there yet, the tell will be when bad news is release and the stock doesn't go down). Once this happens, true believers should be adding ,since the only risk they are taking is dead money or a limited downside. ...To take to the end... If the stock begins an extended flat line, then the thread dies and becomes a ghost town as the original technology is passed by, and as the original promise no longer makes sense, eventually even the zealots will have sold out .
