I don't have the hospital info - E does and jlallen does. We figured it would be better for only a couple of people to call. Based on my conversation with her sister last night, my impression is that her condition is very grave. The doctors are running many tests, trying to determine the cause of the illness, and have come up with nothing yet. That was as of last night.
Edit: I just spoke with Claudia, Edwarda's sister. She had just spoken with the doctors. They still are not sure of the cause, but her condition has worsened. Her kidneys did not operate for the last 24 hours, and she is now receiving dialysis via her femoral artery. This is a risky procedure, but they have no other choice. I asked if they had tried to biopsy her bone marrow, and she said that they had, they had done everything. She has my phone number and will call me late tonight or tomorrow. I don't really expect a call until tomorrow, because she won't even get to the hospital until around midnight. jlallen will probably have news sooner, but under the circumstance, I expect the doctors will be more frank with her kin. |
