Yes, I'm a SUNW shill, but that has absolutely NOTHING to do with the post you most lamely responded to. --- My mother-in-law, like 90% of the Windows PC 'owners' (sic) use those boxes for the freakin' internet. Look at how much time you people here spend on the World Wide Web. What do you need Windows FOR? --- There's nothing she wont be able to do with *nix on her machine that she now does with Windows. --- YES, having it to do over, getting her a cheap UltraSPARC IIi and running root remotely rather than that Micron whatever it was, would have been more hassle free. The MOST hassle free would have been a thin client with the big bandwidth. That didn't exist at the time. That's something that WILL exist within the next year. --- You Soldier of Fortune subscribers are welcome to continue using PCs. I'm just saying (after this many years), it's not for me. -JCJ
