Your conclusion that 0.18 Copper Tbird does not have clock speed advantage over Al is premature.

<Now - maybe you can tell us how many Oxygen Ion Implanters - and at what cost - will be required for 5000 Wafer Starts per week for SOI wafers.>

AMD does not have to buy Implanters they can just buy SOI wafers.
