How competitive will Corvis and Sycamore be with each other and Nortel in DWDM market? This article discusses that question. Lucent, Alcatel and Ciena not even mentioned. Article points out that transition to higher speeds happens much slower than people realize. IMO, the valuations given to the startups are excessive. When people realize how slow the growth is, the stocks will decline like the dot coms. lightreading.com OT - Still having a great time in Alaska. Going to Denali on Monday.
