Jeff,

The two-way wireless system is set for deployment in 2001. Gemstar has apparently bypassed the one-way intermediate step. One-way does not offer T-commerce, communication or true interactivity and is essentially a back-up data source.

Should this "test" of signal blocking be allowed I suspect that Gemstar will deploy its one-way unit about the size of a mouse that sits atop the STB as originally planned. All 2G GuidePlus units can upgrade to wireless. These are the IPGs deployed within the past 18 months and well over 95% of the subscriber base.

Henry will move WHEN and not BEFORE conditions call for such.

A card laid is a card played.

Regards
Stew
