The doctor was not thrilled with the CDC suggestion, but frustration may make them do things pride would ordinarily preclude. The hospital is part of a big medical care system, so perhaps calling on more of their own resources would turn the trick. I will ask tomorrow if the NIH came up, though, it is a good idea in itself......
