Hi Jim: I agree that AOL has a lot of air in their earnings report and eventually (in a year or two) they will have to show profits to their investors or the stock will be a disaster. However, I'm in deep belief that sometimes a genus can achieve the impossible. AOL has historically been a nightmare for shorters and I believe this is largely tied to Steve Case. AOL's valuation may seem ridiculous at this moment but who knows what's going to happen a year later? I haven't followed MSFT too long so I don't know if there is any stories of shorters out there. Don't you think it's rediculous to value a 150-billion company at PE of 50+? Well, I would think so, but I would never bet that MSFT would go down, because I can't imagine what BillG is going to do. Well, I wouldn't put BillG and Case at the same level though, and MSFT and AOL are definitely not comparable finacially. Anyway, I like AOL as an investment idea but I don't like their current valuation and balance sheet. I'll wait to see.

Raymond
