We sent Claudia to New York based on the fact that the doctors wanted her there, and she wanted to be there. E knows Edwarda very well, they have spoken on the phone frequently as well as communicated via PM, and E thought Claudia should be there. I trust E's judgment better than I trust my own. From what I read, the cousins had not been to visit Edwarda and she was there all alone. I think people are judging Claudia unfairly - she's a single mother raising two teenagers, she's self employed, she drives a 1984 car with 126,000 miles on it. But when I spoke with her, she was desperate to get to New York, and abjectly, humbly grateful that we all donated the money to get her there so she could be there for Edwarda. She is planning on taking Edwarda home to recuperate.
