Thanks for the info about the herbs. I will ask the sister to check the apartment and see what herbal remedies it looks as if Edwarda was trying. Some of the Asian remedies are contaminated. A lot of people got sick several years ago with eosinophilia from a bad batch of supplements from Japan. Muscle weakness was a symptom. When she said abdominal cramps, did she mention diarrhea? Vomiting? How stiff was her neck? Could she bend it? Was this during a phone call, or via PM? SI may be able to call up her PMs, if need be.
