I'd like to add kind of a side observation: I'm just as worried for Edwarda as anyone, but I'm not worried about the doctors or hospital. I know how these feelings go. "Surely there exists a facility/doctor combo that has the answer and we must avail ourselves of that expertise." Dealt with that during our vigil at my father-in-law's side when a stroke took him from us. Based on the reports we've had from those who've been there, I am not worried about the quality of her treatment. Resourceful, result-oriented people that we are (part of why we're here), we want only the best for our friend. Personally, I'm comfortable that she's in very good hands. I don't see anything to convince me otherwise. Anyway, I think our resourcefulness is better used in assisting the doctors and family rather than (desperately and understandably) trying to second-guess them or doubt their abilities. Bob
