Dr_Analyst has a business card (or copy of one) that he got from AHEA that says Michael Ash is the Director of the NYC Link Program.
oldvich spoke with Stacey Lehman from NYC Dept. of Mental Health. Mr. Leman says that Michael Ash is not the Director of the NYC Link program. ragingbull.com
No one can find or talk to Michael Ash right now. _________________________________________________________________________________________
oldvich got an alleged PR from Marjorie Searles in the Office Of Publid Education & Community Affairs. The PR is dated June 9th. ragingbull.com
oldvich spoke with Mr. Leman who said that the PR went out on the news wires.
mythical_phenix spoke to Crain (Business Review?) who said the PR was just a draft and it never went out.
No one on RB has seen this PR on any of the news services yet.

Mr. Lestor told me (hybridmsg) that they were just waiting for a couple more signatures on the document that indicates the city would be the guarantor if Mediacid did pay. He also says the dollars amounts in the PR from the 25th are conservative based on the number of patients and prescriptions possible.
oldvich spoke with Tom Liskey of Liskey Gedney Stover, Inc. (AHEA PR firm). Mr. Liskey said that he actually wrote the press release based on the tape recording Mr. Lester provided him of the phone call between Mr. Lester and Mr. Ash. ragingbull.com

Stacey Lehman from NYC Dept. of Mental Health told oldvich that the entire Mental Health program involves total spending of only $100 million a year, with $25 million under the Department of Mental Health and $75 million under the Department of Health. He said the meds distribution program was only a $400 thousand dollar deal!
The Health and Mental Health Commissioner Neal L. Cohen, M.D. stated in the alleged PR of June 9th - "In fact," the Commissioner said, "New York State is responsible for selecting a vendor for this worthwhile effort. It was never a City issue. The State has selected First Health, a pharmacy benefits manager for the job."
At this point in time no one can verify the First Health or anyone else has actually been awarded the meds contract. _________________________________________________________________________________________
