It may be connected, it may not. The fact is that her immune system seems overwhelmed, maybe being sick a lot did it, maybe she really never got over what made her sick to begin with. Some people get sick often, but get over it.

The reason I am thinking about it is that I never get sick, myself, because my own immune system is overactive - unfortunately I have rheumatoid arthritis, and am in pain every day, but since I got it, I've never had the flu or a cold, and even before then, I rarely got sick. One of my kids, the 12 year old, has been sick twice in his entire life, once with chicken pox.

Maybe to normal people, having the flu in December, January, March and June seems normal. To me, it seems very odd.
