For quite a long time now, EMC has been the kind of stock where it always paid to buy when it was put on "sale". The fundamentals of the company are very strong. I always worry about a CSCO type Barron's cover story that's waiting to come out, and EMC's business risks (see SUNW's announcement this past week and IBM's consistent storage product hype) are substantial. The company's high p/e has always left little room for disappointment.
EMC's RS chart, however, has been the best long term guide for investors. EMC's Bullish Support Line has been broken a number of times in recent years, for the most part, only during severe general market declines. The RS chart continued to tell a familiar story despite the market's gyrations; buy and hold. The RS chart continues to tell a bullish story.

A long time EMC bull,
Bruce
