14 -- the return of the PC group is important as it is looked upon 'generally' as the core. cpq is still thought of as a boxmaker only by many. No one will know the return from investments until they report. $0.03 should be easily made. At these levels they may not be very inclined to push a lot out the door. They may feel the price of holdings will rise or do not wish to cause excess volatility to their holdings. Unless tech picks up soon they may slow selling into next qtr. You are correct they must not disappoint. Meeting consensus will be just fine. We will not see the type of return with a positive surprise as we would from failing to meet. The eps from operations is most important. Some are looking for a little play area but that is not needed,, they need to be on track to meet or beat the F/Y without dropping a qtr. <<" Separately, I am also glad that the 27.5 calls I wrote vaporized on Friday.
