Euro 2000 Spain-Slovenia 2-1 This was the first full game I watched in Euro 2000. Thank you Univision. Spain and Slovenia...Two teams that do not deserve to go on to the next round and hopefully they won't. This group, after Yugoslavia's win over Norway, is wide open. Anyone could qualify if they win their final game. Raul's goal was a GOLAZO. But Spain showed the typical underachieving unorganized team with flashes of individual brilliance every twenty two minutes. Slovenia showed a very good team, no wonder they beat Croatia and Greece to qualify. Again, lots of diving. The referree showed a yellow card to a Slovene player for diving. It appears the Yugos did lots of diving in the NOrway match too. I can't stand diving...They should start throwing lots more yellows for this crap. Englad beat Germany 1-0. It appears that the Germans have graduated from the geriatric team to the dinosaur class...They need a miracle now. But I think Romania can beat them too. I got to see Shearer's goal, beautiful. But then again, it would be neat to see England thrown out because of their fananimals. France is looking superb, along with surprising Portugal. And of course the usual suspects Holland and Italy will be right there near the finish. I think France can do it again, way too much non-French born in that team<g> Anyone who is watching the games is very welcome to revive this thread! Or anyone who likes soccer period!
