You get no argument from me that the FED currently has a choke hold on the market. I won't argue long term implications with you either. Hell, unlike most of the pundits here, I don't really know where the market is going in the short term.

The banks have been in a general decline since 98.

The stochastics are oversold.

I wouldn't want to stake my money on the next 4-500 points move of the NASDAQ based on what the banks may or may not be telling us right now.

I merely stated that monetary activity took the wind out the market's sail. It can certainly stoke bullish sentiment in the short term to create enough buying to wreak terror in the hearts of the least convicted bears.

I doubt capitulation will be that easy.
