I am not sure what the "Orthodox" Jewish section of Pittsburgh is. I was born in ShadySide. Your description fits that Jewish community. Your earlier descriptions of sections of Pittsburgh were right on the money as well. As I am Slovak...and Greek Catholic by birth. I did not know that history of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I am surprised that we have not visited it yet. I think it is one of those things, that sometimes you overlook the "cultural" things that are close by, almost taking them for granted. The year our 4th child was born, we decided to "vacation" in Pittsburgh. For as much time as we spend there, we really never see Pittsburgh" So we went and stayed at my mom's for a week, and played tourist. It was a great adventure. Jane
