Traffic improvement at the stores are hopeful. But merchandising is to move the slow movers even if they are just recently shipped in from vendors. Remember the chapter 11, DIPs must pay for the new merchandise on time. Cash flow has to be managed wisely, or else chapter 7 here we come. Good movers in liquidation should be restocked if possible with smaller quantities until there is no more demand.

Trustee recognized the cash flow problems, but Cusano finally got the cash from Fleet. The investors in SVCDQ is no doubt risk taking people. The future of SVCDQ is building up the traffic and making stores profitable. Turn around guys always have to know the true conditions of the firm before looking at all the possibilities. Trustee's request for the stockholders to get the financial facts is very reasonable.

Cusano left AMES when AMES could not get merchandise to the store in January. His weakness showed up again at SVCDQ this January. But the traffic has improved now against all other retailers who are slowing down. I think there is hope for the risk we take. Cusano better learn fast.
