Re: appears that there is an organized approach involved

Salient features of these portfolios:

(1) Buy and Hold, no market timing involved;

(2) "Technology Paradigm" companies, but look at how these portfolios, up 24% an 54% YTD respectively, crushed YTD returns on broader technology indexes:

NASDAQ: -5%
QQQ: +3%
MSH: +7.5%
PSE-Tech: +13%

(3) No curve-fitting or back testing involved as these portfolios were established and accessible on SI during the first week of January;

(4) If you can listen to the radio, you probably can also read a book and these portfolios share a common ancestry in that they were created from and based on the principles outlined in "The Gorilla Game" by Geoffrey Moore. Yes, you can do this at home;

(5) No daily twisting in the wind from every inconsequential economic statistic or inane ringside analysis paralysis thereof;

(6) No TA involved or allowed...but with a little work, you can fix that.
