Yes, INTC is a masterpiece.

As everyone knows, this is a unique period in the technology-driven mania. We have had so many range-bound days. Lots of energy being stored.

This tightness and indecision is reflected in a variety of patterns we see in the leading stocks. Some looked poised for major breakouts, while others look to be wanting a nasty haircut.

My major bear worry is the inverse H&S on MSFT. That would pop it to the gap in the $83 dollar area and, more importantly, would drag the whole business along with it.

DELL continues to surprise me. It's putting in an 8th day of strength and has broken its downtrend line from March high.

Nortel. Correction, what correction. It is arching for a new all-time high!

S&P MidCaps. Wants another new high?

--------

NASDAQ just breaking out if this morning's coil and wanting green. Yup, deteriorating internals is bullish. I won;t make that mistake again -g-.
