Prophet, Our patent system, which grants exclusive monopolies for temporary duration, is fundamental to the system. You may call it blackmail if you so choose. I choose merit. Myself and others have pointed out several times that essentially all significant digital designs violate numerous patents. Exclusive monopolies would shut down the industry. Scumbria
