Greg Favor, a senior fellow at AMD, said that conceivably this might mean that the K7 and Alpha processors would achieve a certain level of compatibility, essentially allowing both chips to be used interchangeably on computer circuit boards, referred to as "motherboards." Re: "I guess the answer to my original question is that it is a new lie, but this time you really mean it." That's right KalCan, call me a liar and then reprint a senior fellow at AMD confirming what I said. Brilliant!!! A 2-bagger!!! EP
