Subliminal mind controls a player's comfort zone. It is the reason some player's can go real low and some never will.

I believe Tiger's would not let him take all of Jack's records on Sunday. The putt on 18 was just to out of character compared to nearly every other putt Tiger stroked during the round. It was not exactly a putt which needed to be lagged. If that putt was to win the tourny I think Tiger makes it 8 out of 10 times.
