Picnic at Voltaire's: true Southern hospitality... generous Southern host... beautiful, peaceful countryside... nearby babbling river amid expanses of green... puddles of rainbow-hued flowers beneath spreading oak boughs... deep shade and soft breeze... sun peeking between the clouds in the bluest of skies... red-checkered tablecloths... aroma of slow-cooked BBQ... spare ribs and chicken... slaw, baked beans and corn on the cob... iced tea with lemon and Georgia peach cobbler... new friends sitting on Porch steps, sharing... sharing a meal, sharing their hearts...
