Yes, Vince, I know. I heard you the first time. The problem is that I cannot imagine any reason to object to the teaching of evolution other than conflict with religious beliefs. I still haven't heard one from you.

From the AP news article:

Lawyers for those who challenged the disclaimer disagreed. "By disclaiming only evolution ? the one element of the school curriculum that generates religious controversy ? the school board has violated both the constitutional mandate of neutrality toward religion and its obligation to provide its students with secular educations free from religious indoctrination or partisanship," they said.

These lawyers don't seem to be able to imagine any other reason, either. Since your reason isn't religion, you obviously know of some alternative that these lawyers and I don't understand. I'm simply trying to come to an understanding of what it is and would appreciate your enlightening me, if you would. TIA.
