at Executive Seminars

NEW YORK, June 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Cornerstone Internet Solutions
(Nasdaq: CNRS), a provider of comprehensive Internet-based
business-to-business (B2B) services and solutions, today announced that its
wholly owned marchFIRST Cornerstone subsidiary will demonstrate a custom-
configured portal at two executive breakfast seminars co-sponsored by
Microsoft Corporation (Nasdaq: MSFT), Fortune Magazine and Sequoia Software
Corporation (Nasdaq: SQSW), a leading provider of XML-powered software for
creating interactive e-business portals. Scheduled to be held in New York on
June 20, 2000 and Boston on June 21, 2000, these seminars are designed to help
business leaders learn how their organizations can derive more value from
their existing investments in technology. marchFIRST Cornerstone is a full-
service consulting organization that delivers leading-edge e-commerce, e-
business and knowledge-management solutions.
"These seminars present a tremendous opportunity to showcase our ability
to develop sophisticated information portal applications to a diverse audience
of executive-level decision-makers at corporations and other large
organizations," said Joe Stagner, President and CEO of marchFIRST Cornerstone.
"Business managers face serious issues with the integration of differing
applications that they require to run their enterprises. Some of these
applications may run on the employee's desktop, while others may be spread
among various corporate or branch locations throughout a network. Through
custom implementation of Sequoia's XML-based software, marchFIRST Cornerstone
is able to meet the challenges of integration for e-business portals and
deliver the solutions that our customers require."
At the seminars, the marchFIRST Cornerstone team will be demonstrating one
of the configurations it has developed for Sequoia's XML Portal Server(TM)
(XPS). XPS is an enterprise interactive information portal that enables the
development of software solutions that unite disparate applications and
presents them in a unified manner to users. The system allows employees to
gain better access to information, increase productivity and better utilize
the collective knowledge of the enterprise.
"Just one of the advantages of providing customized solutions through
Sequoia's technology is the 'time to value' that it enables us to provide to
our clients," Stagner added. "Using XPS as a platform, we can create portals
that integrate a number of applications very quickly. The server also
includes an array of functionalities that assist the management of content,
the execution of workflow problems, sophisticated searching and indexing and
even personalization."
Additional speakers at these initial seminars will include representatives
from Sequoia, Microsoft, CAP Ventures, Inc. and Concur Technologies
(Nasdaq: CNQR). Seminars are also planned for Atlanta on July 19, 2000,
Chicago on August 9, 2000 and San Francisco on August 10, 2000.
