The users will be left to decide "Should I use the free software, or wait for an upgrade to become available and then shell out the bucks?". Hmm, I wonder how their air supply is holding out. Real evidence of a harmed consumer here. I guess that companies ought to sit idly still and static, in a dynamic industry. Talk and belief about regression is where consumer harm lays.
