I will de-lurk briefly to share a few thoughts with those of you who
have contributed so much to this thread. As a rank amateur in this
area, I have been extremely appreciative of your efforts to share your
information and expertise with others. The tenor and discourse on this
thread have been a welcome contrast to the trite name-calling and lack
of substance on many other threads on SI. Charters initially
introduced some (factual) controversy based on real (rather than
inferred) results, and engaged many on this thread in intelligent
dialogue. However, this quickly degenerated into intellectual acrobatics
of the "look how clever I am" variety, followed by exchanges of petty
insults. I appeal to all of you to restore some civility to this
thread, disregard the catcalls, and return to a dispassionate analysis
of PFG.
