Your statement IMPLIES that they would do something illegal and, as an implication, it is an assumption on your part.

That was my last insistence.

If one is going to assume that of one analyst, one would have to assume that about all analysts. If you follow A@P's instruction, you would assume that the analysts are selling and shorting into their own recommendations. IF that is the case, then there is no such thing as a 'clean' analyst, and - at that point - anyone's insistence that Bornstein did something illegal or ethically wrong would merely be pointing at one out of a school of fish that are all of the same stripe and gill. At which point the playing field in question would, once again, be level.
