I've come to about the same conclusion regarding RB in it's entirety, not just the RB thread. The bashers are actually a good momentum barometer though. I usually see the number of posts for the day, scan the headings on the last 20 or so to see if there's any chance of intelligent life, and clear the count. I thought the greatly increased basher activity must be a sign of impending news. We'll see.
