Do you come from a heritage of monkeys? Actually we all derive from a heritage of chimpanzees. This is a distinct familial class from monkeys. Humans now have relatively little variation because a population bottleneck about 100,000 years ago brought the entirety of our ancestry down to 10,000 individuals or less.
