Well I'm not worrying about it! - but it's not hypothetical - every year CBs have sold and bought gold - in fact in some years in the past they bought more than they sold. I fear the Washington Accord has changed the emphasis towards the sell side - because, come what may, 400 tons will be sold - so I think the overall impact is quite negative - unless the 400 ton figure relates to sales before purchases are taken into account.
