Steve,

AMD prime market is retail. Recent economic reports show retail sales slowing. Companies like Circuit City and Office Depot have made some cautious statements about the future. In the 4th quarter, there will be new consumer electronics products that compete with PC's.

The one thing about AMD in the past is that there wasn't that much risk of it's stock price going down, it traded on it's potential. Now it has some wholesome expectations built in, and as the Crackers say in Florida, if things break bad...

I'm glad iNteL supporters dropped the mantra: "Wait until iNteL starts a price war....."

That was never my mantra. My mantra is "wait for Willy" <g>.
