The box or market making account has two sides, both a buy side and a sell side. Sell when the stock is temporarily high, buy when it's tempoarily low.

The sell side of the box SEEMS to be less active and IMO it should be taken as positive. The box is run by someone in the know and will always be aware of the short term direction of the stock. I capitalized SEEMS because the box doen't nessesarily have to trade through the same houses all the time. They can be deceiving.

A true box or market making account is rarely proftable. The box is also used to help MOVITVATE the market on occasion. This is not always profitable. The benefit to the investor and the company is that a stock with properly managed box is MUCH more liquid and stable in comparision to one without.

The box in CY's case could be the promotors or just an investor in the know. The outcome is the same.

Golden Capital appears to be the buy side of the box. They seem to watching the stock very closely and react fairly quickly to changes in the bids. If I had to guess I would say that number 38 was one of the promoters.

Why? The rumour in Calgary is that Robert McInnes has been brought in to help out with the rapid growth that is expected over the next short while. I had the pleasure of consulting to a company that Mr. McInnes was involved with for a short while, and I can say without hesitation that he knows what he is doing. It was the news that he had joined CY that pushed me off the fence and made me a buyer.

FYI. Until recently, I was employed by serveral Canadian brokerage houses (including CT Securites in Toronto) as a professional trader and retail broker. I now provide securites consulting and investor relations services to several public and private companies in Calgary.
At no time have I ever been compensated by CY or any related parties.
