I just don't believe it's true. My "proof" isn't something that would stand up in a court of law, nor withstand the inquiry of learned scientists. My understandings are derived from feelings, from dreams, from studying religion and philosophy, from observing men and nature.

Death is inevitable, but death is not evil. When the body is used up, death is a welcome release.

Pain is inevitable, but pain is not evil. Pain is simply something that signals our brain that our body is in danger.

Misery is not inevitable. Christ told us to take care of each other. Feed the hungry. Clothe the naked. Heal the sick. Comfort the afflicted. Visit the lonely, and those in prisons. Teach the ignorant. Love the children. Christ did not want anyone to suffer here on Earth. He did not say anyone deserved to suffer. If we would only live as Christ taught us, this world would be a far better place.
