PAIR Presentation Pair-Gain gave a long, and unispiring presentation today at theHambrecht-Quist Technology Conference. See: businessvideo.msnbc.com Highlights that I noted: 1. A reminder that PAIR is a vendor to BA 2. xDSL Internet access is overhyped but...it will be a horse race and their horse (Falcon) is already in the starting gate. 3. Low cost providers will win the race. 4. xDSL is a technology driven by the business consumer. 5. An "end to end" solution is required. 6. A "great" global opportunity. 7. They have already shipped their first CAP ADSL system. 8. A "system on a chip" will ultimately be required. PAIR does not get one excited but they do know where their going. They're making money and will do what's necessary to continue the "horserace". They're certainly no jittery, nervous thoroughbred as I would liken Amati. I would look for this old plow horse to continue churning up the track. Hopefully, Amati is the kind of filly that will make your blood boil as she tears down the home stretch. Cheers sg
