Gilder loves QCOM and LOR. Both are oversold and could really take off on any good news. At least for a day. LOL

Also on 21st is AAPL split. Hope some of you got some at 91 where I called it this morning. Should break through 100 market permitting tomorrow.

Interesting thing happened on UIS today. It was up more than 3 on DT takeover rumors then Bob Pisani came on and said the IBM takeover rumors were old and unfounded. He was misinformed. It was DT not IBM because they just raised 14 B in bond money which is exactly the amount needed to buy UIS and rumors are coing from Germany. UIS still finished up 2 1/2. I know, they're just rumors but I have a feeling this one might be right. certainly buy it if it dips. Also watching NOVL which might be in play.

T has to start popping someday soon. Paine Webber recommended it to my dad to buy last week so they certainly believe it's overdue. As a long termer anyway. Other Baby Bells look like good solid investments. I also like LU as relatively undervalued.

Retailers were ignored today but once techs peak move into them. They should catch the next wave up. I like ANF, TOM as most undervalued and also WFMI if it dips much more.
Of course try to catch them on dips.

I don't know much about HON but a 17% drop on a slight earnings miss puts them on my watch list. Typically it takes them about a week to bottom. Then they take another month or so to pop, assuming recovery is underway. But HON may be a dinosaur. They used to be huge and over 120 a share. I can't even tell you what they make now except thermostat systems. Anyone know enough to recommend HON at a certain price. Ditto XRX. Same type story. Sooner or later much higher but have to catch the bottom then hold patiently. One thing I know now. When Barrons or Forbes does a cover story on a company sell it.

I think we could rally here to around 4400. What do you guys think?
